Aster "Palais Royal"
Peony-flowered Aster "Palais Royal".
A spectacular, incredibly beautiful, and long-blooming aster. The bush has a strict columnar shape and reaches a height of up to 65 cm. The inflorescences are large and fully double, with tightly folded petals, reaching 8-10 cm in diameter. A single plant can simultaneously form 8-10 high-quality, lush blooms on long, sturdy stems. This is a multi-purpose variety – it is absolutely perfect both for professional cutting into bouquets and for brightly decorating garden flower beds.
Asters are traditionally grown from seedlings. When the first pair of true leaves develops, the young seedlings should be carefully pricked out. Seedlings are planted in their permanent location at the age of 30-35 days. Direct sowing of seeds outdoors is also possible in spring or before winter (in late October) to a shallow depth of 0.5-1 cm. For abundant blooming, the plants require regular watering, timely weeding, soil loosening, and complex feeding.
